W. Mich aviation students tour DC

From West Michigan Aviation Academy

WASHINGTON (WOOD) - Sixty-nine freshman students from the very first class of the West Michigan Aviation Academy are in Washington, D.C. 

They departed early Monday morning and the one-day trip is courtesy the Dick and Betsy DeVos Foundation.

The students will tour the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and visit with Rep. Justin Amash (R-Cascade Township) in the Capitol.

Maranda, the host of "Where You Live" on WOOD TV8, WOTV 4 and WXSP, is traveling with the group, and will have updates throughout the day.
