Perry tapped to lead Portage schools

One-year contract to be interim superintendent

PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - Dr. Richard Perry was offered a one-year contract to become the interim superintendent of the Portage Public Schools, officials announced Monday.

The school board made the decision Monday morning.

Perry, currently the school district's assistant superintendent of instruction, will replace Marsha Wells, who resigned earlier this year.
