DETROIT (AP) - Public elementary school libraries in Michigan are getting copies of a book by Detroit Tigers center fielder Curtis Granderson.

Illustrations in "All You Can Be: Dream It, Draw It, Become It!" were contributed by fourth grade students from across Michigan. Granderson and Chicago-based publisher Triumph Books are donating copies of the book.

A contest was held to pick artwork for the book. The theme for the artwork was: How do you see yourself when you are in high school and how is education important in helping you become that person?

Granderson chose 29 submissions for the book.
