GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A former Grand Rapids Public School board president died Friday, and he was honored Monday at the board meeting.
Attorney Thomas Shearer died unexpectedly at the age of 72.
He was a current member of the Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation and from 1980 to 1986, served on the school board.
