CPSC recall: Honeywell portable heaters

Model numbers HZ-420, HZ-430, AND HZ-440

NEW YORK (NBC) - The makers of Honeywell portable electric heaters is recalling about 19,000 devices because of a burn hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends you stop using this heater model immediately.

The recall covers model numbers HZ-420, HZ-430, AND HZ-440. The models will have a code on the metal prongs of the plug with the numbers "11" at the end of the code.

The heaters were sold from July through December at various Best Buy, Meijer and Walmart stores.

If you have this type of heater, you are asked to go to Kaz's website for refund information.
