GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Experts worry school bullies could take away their victims' confidence.

Some effects can include fear of school, worsening grades as well as trouble sleeping or eating.

Cyberbullying is when a bully uses technology such as the Internet or mobile phones. This can be more of a mental threat than a physical one.

Besides talking to your children who may be victims, teach them how to respond by maintaining composure and not acting in retaliation. You can boost their self confidence by having them join sports teams or music groups to help make friends.
