Rector's mom: drugs led daughter astray

    ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - The mother of a teenage girl arrested in Colorado with two escaped inmates and another woman said her daughter was led astray by drugs and criminals.

    Judy Olexa spoke about her daughter Brittany Rector's arrest, as well as her daughter's history with Laura Grauman.

    This is the first time Olexa spoke with 24 Hour News 8 since the four fugitives were arrested Oct. 11.

    Rector was a good girl who got A's and B's in school, she said, but was led astray by drugs and criminals.
