GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A Hudsonville woman is critically injured after a Georgetown Township crash.

Police say 41-year-old Ranae Hook was driving north on 36th Avenue just before noon Tuesday when she ran a red light at Port Sheldon Street and hit an eastbound vehicle.

Hook's van went off the road a hit a tree head-on. She had to be extricated from the van.

The driver of the eastbound car -- a 24-year-old from Grandville -- was seriously hurt. Both were taken to the hospital.

Both were wearing their seatbelts.
