MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - More pictures released Tuesday show the extent of the filth inside a home where an 85-year-old woman was lying in her own waste after her son allegedly did nothing to help.
Mark Anderson, 50, is charged with the elder abuse of his mother, Lucille. Family members said it may have been a year since she was last bathed.
She was found on the couch inside the home in the 1600 block of Hoyt. She's since been hospitalized and underwent surgery to repair a deteriorating part of her leg.
Mark Anderson is next due in court Dec. 12.
