GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two men accused of killing a Howard City couple rejected a plea deal and will stand trial.
Tuesday, Bobby Fisk and Timothy Stephan were offered a plea deal in the October slaying of Robert and Norma Bean. They allegedly snuck into the Bean home while they were sleeping, then took them and their car to a northern Kent County gravel pit where police believe Fisk shot Norma Bean.
A struggle ensued, and police allege Stephan shot Robert Bean.
The pair was caught after their car got stuck in the gravel pit and they left separately on foot.
No trial date has been set. 24 Hour News 8 will continue to follow this case.
