BYRON CENTER, Mich. (WOOD) - A man suffered "substantial" injuries, after his brother stabbed him outside a Byron Center condominium complex.
Shortly after midnight, sheriff's deputies responded to a call at the Amber Lakes condominium complex, located in the 1000 block of Amberwood Dr. SW.
In a release to the media, the Kent County Sheriff's Department say it was the result of a fight between two brothers inside a parked car.
The fight ended when one brother stabbed the other in the chest with a "sharp object."
An ambulance rushed the man to the hospital.
Dispatchers tell 24 Hour News 8 the victim suffered substantial injuries, that could possibly be life-threatening.
The case is still under investigation.
Deputies have yet to release a description of the suspect, or the name of the victim.
