OCSD, GR police compare notes

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) - Ottawa County detectives confirmed they'll compare note with Grand Rapids police to see if Troy Brake has any connection to the death of Janna Kelly nearly a year ago.

Kelly, the 60-year-old owner of an insurance agency, disappeared December 4,2007 from her home in Grand Rapids. Her purse and coat were found in a dumpster at a Burton Street car wash, near where Brake allegedly beat and raped a prostitute in October.

Kelly's body was found March 13 in a wooded are near a home on 160th and Pierce in Grand Haven Township.

Brake is suspected in a quadruple murder in Wright Township. However, there is no evidence at this time to suggest Brake is connected with Kelly's death.
