HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Holland-based Herman Miller is making good on its plan announced last year to furlough some production workers.
Five hundred employees were laid off Monday.
Herman Miller spokesman Mark Schurman confirmed the layoffs. He says the company hopes to bring those employees back once business improves.
The company announced up to a thousand job reductions, mostly white-collar jobs, in November.
