Ed Begley at Davenport's Green Week

Actor/activist to talk about sustainability

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. spoke at Davenport University Monday night in an event that kicks off Green Week at the campus. He appeared on 24 Hour News 8 at 5 prior to his speech.

Begley, perhaps best known for TV and movie roles that include Batman Forever and Pineapple Express, is also a committed environmentalist. Begley served as chairman of the Environmental Media Association, and the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.
