CADILLAC, Mich. (WOOD) - A former Wyoming resident with 12 prior convictions for driving while intoxicated was arrested by State police after a short pursuit in Wexford County.
David Scott Storey, who also has seven convictions for driving with a suspended license, was pulled over by police after a gas station clerk called and said the man left his store in a very intoxicated state.
Storey was seen driving a Dodge pickup truck south on Mitchell Street. It was snowing heavily and he did not have his headlights on. Police pulled up alongside the truck, which allegedly struck the side of the police car, but caused only minor damage.
Storey now faces multiple charges: fleeing and eluding, third-degree OWI (third offense), driving with a suspended license and refusing a preliminary breath test.
Storey, 42, was arraigned Monday on the charges.
