She can be calm and relaxed by a fire in a fireplace.

She loves to give kisses and enjoys your company!

She has plenty of playmates and seems to do well with all dogs that she has been introduced to.

Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit group that operates an incredible 'home-along-the-way' for abused, abandoned and neglected dogs. Mackenzie's is a no-kill sanctuary, promising not to euthanize but rather provide a lifetime commitment for every dog in their care while they wait to find the right home for their needs.

All visits to the Sanctuary are by appointment only.

They do not do 'same day' adoptions, and the Kennels are not open to the public.

ADOPTIONS: If you are interested in adopting a dog from Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary, the first step is to complete the online Adoption Survey . You can also call the Sanctuary at (616) 693-2490 Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the office staff will be happy to assist you.
