Magnet is a wonderful Lhasa Apso mix.

He is a calm, relaxed gentleman that is always ready to curl up at your side.

He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly.

He loves to be petted, but is a little more aloof; he likes to be his own dog.

He needs a home whose owners can let him be him -- sleep on a comfy, cozy bed and keep you company!

He is well-mannered and would make a great companion for a calm, relaxed home.

He would do better in a home with no young children, as he does not like being squeezed.

He will make a great companion!

Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit group that operates an incredible 'home-along-the-way' for abused, abandoned and neglected dogs. Mackenzie's is a no-kill sanctuary, promising not to euthanize but rather provide a lifetime commitment for every dog in their care while they wait to find the right home for their needs.

All visits to the Sanctuary are by appointment only.

They do not do 'same day' adoptions, and the Kennels are not open to the public.
