GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Restaurant Week in Grand Rapids is looking to highlight the summer harvest for this year's event that began Wednesday and lasts through Aug. 25.

Each restaurant offers a special menu, which will include either a three-course meal for $25 a person or two three-course meals for $25.

Almost all of the restaurants have created unique menus that utilize fresh produce from area farms.

Local First is the organization that helps make that happen. Executive director Elissa Hillary explains in the video.
