Marc Maron brings podcast to LaughFest

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Comedian Marc Maron has been in the stand-up comedy world for over two decades, but the past 15 months has been some of the most exciting in his career.

Marc Maron is the host of his own podcast, " WTF with Marc Maron", and has become an underground sensation in the entertainment world. He, and the podcast, have been written up and called a “must-listen” by Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone and the New York Times , among many others.

The show ranks #1 on the iTunes comedy charts regularly and has had over 36 million downloads since September 2009. Maron has had guests like Robin Williams, Carlon Mencia, Dane Cook, Louis C.K., Lisa Lampanelli, Jim Gaffigan, Ben Stiller, Amy Pohler, Patton Oswalt, Jonathan Winters, Ray Romono, Conan O'Brien and many, many others on the podcast.

Marc performed his stand-up Thursday night and will be taping a Live WTF Podcast at the Wealthy Theater Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. The guests for the night will be Kevin Nealon, Alan Zweibel, Tommy Johnagin and Drew Hastings.
