HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Crews will begin shooting a film on Monday along the West Michigan lakeshore.

"What's Wrong with Virginia," starring Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris, will be shot in about 30 locations in the Holland and Grand Haven areas.

Connelly plays a single mother who is involved in a long affair with the local sheriff, played by Harris.

The film is set in Virginia Beach, Va., and filmmakers will use Lake Michigan to resemble the Atlantic Ocean coast.

Earlier this summer, TicTock studios in Holland held tryouts for local talent to get some on-screen time as extras.
