GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Soon, you'll be able to listen to Gary Allen, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity on both WOOD-AM/1300 and on 106.9 FM.
Clear Channel West Michigan executive Doug Montgomery told 24 Hour News 8 the move to simulcast the news/talk station on both AM and FM will begin in early January, though a specific date has not been announced.
Earlier, Clear Channel Market Manager Tim Feagan said country station WMUS, currently at 106.9 FM, would move up the dial to 107.9 FM next week, though both frequencies would carry the country music format for the time being.
No programming changes are expected for WMUS, and they will continue to stream through their website, 107mus.com
WOOD Radio's Allen and his morning co-host Steve Kelly will continue to anchor the early drive-time slot. Kelly recently signed a new contract to continue in his role.
In November, the station fired Michelle McKormick and Scott Winters , the hosts of the mid-day program Mouth to Mouth, and inserted Glenn Beck in their slot.
Clear Channel owns seven radio stations in the area
