It will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at 11172 Adams St., in Holland.

There won't be auditions - selected people will be invited back at a later date for that.

The production company is looking for anyone ages 18 and older, and union or nonunion actors are welcome. The company especially needs people who can play younger, male and female caucasian roles.

Speaking parts are available for the following:

  • Caucasian females, ages 18 to 60
  • Caucasian males, ages 18 to 95
  • Korean female, age 50 to 70
  • African American male, age 60 to 70
  • African American female, age 40 to 50
  • Asian American male, age 40 to 50

Proof of age is required.

"Milk" scribe and Academy Award-winner Dustin Lance Black will write and direct the film. Gus Van Zant, director of "Good Will Hunting," will serve as executive producer and TicTock CEO Hopwood DePree will help.

Variety reports Jennifer Connelly will play a psychologically disturbed mother whose secret relationship with Ed Harris, who plays a sheriff running for state Senate, is threatened when her son begins dating his daughter.

To register in the Michigan Casting Services database, go to www.TicTockStudios.com and look under Jobs and Training.

TicTock Studios is a Michigan-based production company founded in 2006 to attract film and TV production to the state by providing financing, development, job training, and production. It shot the film "Tug" last year in Holland.
