MEARS, Mich. (WOOD) - For the first time in more than a decade, headline concerts will fill the amphitheatre at Val-Du-Lakes.
Officials from the venue announced summer dates on Wednesday, including Pop Evil on May 21, 38 Special with Molly Hatchet on June 4, Collective Soul with Better Than Ezra on June 18 and Big & Rich with Gretchen Wilson on June 23.
In the 1980s and 1990s, touring headliners regularly stopped at Val-Du-Lakes. Among the acts that played there are Aerosmith, Guns-n-Roses, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Beach Boys and Whitesnake.
