GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Scary movie lovers will not be able to watch their favorite flicks during an annual Grand Rapids festival this year.
Organizers of the Thriller! Chiller! Film Festival say on their Web site they are "taking a bye year to work on our own collective film projects while enjoying the increased business opportunities to thrive in our professions as Michigan transforms into Hollywood North."
The festival usually runs in October at the Wealthy Theatre.
It is a showcase for horror, sci-fi, action and suspense movies, as well as student movies and independently produced features.
