GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - You may see pink at the Metallica show Monday night at Van Andel Arena.
The stage crew traditionally wears black t-shirts, but for the Metallica show the crew, members of West Michigan's Local Stagehand Union IATSE Local 26, are wearing pink to show their support of breast cancer awareness.
The union local wants fans attending the show to also wear pink in what they call the Stacks & Racks Campaign. Though more women are getting mammograms to detect breast cancer early, it doesn't strike just women. KISS founding member Peter Criss is a breast cancer survivor.
The Metallica show is sold out.
