GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The May 4 election will be the first time voters have cast ballots since the precincts were consolidated.

The consolidation eliminated:

  • - six precincts in the First Ward
  • - six precincts in the Second Ward
  • - five precincts in the Third Ward

Each voter affected by this change received a new voter ID card in February.

Nine voting locations changed as a result of the consolidation.
