HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Rick Snyder, the Republican nominee for governor, held a Town Hall meeting Thursday afternoon on the campus of Hope College, and picked up more endorsements later.
The 60th townhall Snyder has held across the state began at 2 p.m., and he repeated his familiar talking points about reinventing Michigan.
After, he accepted the endorsements from some agriculture groups. He said the Department of Agriculture specifically is one place the state needs to place more resources.
When he was asked where he might cut, given the state's limited resources and budget condition, Snyder was not specific. He has said throughout the campaign he would create a budget based on results rather than what he calles the current bureaucratic model.
