Zoo-tober - You ready?

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) - The summer sun might be setting but the fun is not ending at a favorite destination, Binder Park Zoo.    October is a busy month there.  It's harvest time and Halloween, so we stopped by the zoo to hear what they've got going, both now and in October.  Bonteboktoberfest happens October 5 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  There will be beer tasting, music, and lots of cool stuff going on and from October 12 through the 28, "The Great Zoo Boo" takes place.  That's when Binder Park is only open specific days and times, Wednesday through Friday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 8pm.  You can enjoy trick or treating, cider and donuts, trails of jack o'lanterns, and much more as you visit the zoo animals.  We also want to remind you of another event happening in December at Binder Park Zoo called "Holiday Nights".  You can have dinner with Santa and lots of other holiday fun.  We'll keep you posted as the holidays draw near.  Plus, between September 21 and 23, we're givng you a chance to Win with Binder Park Zoo.
