GVSU's program gains popularity

ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Valley State University organized a women's ice hockey program in 2007. The team began with 16 women playing on the team and has since grown to 23 highly competitive students that love the sport. This year the team has a 11-6 record and is on their way towards a National Championship. 

Grand Valley State women's ice hockey plays their home games at Georgetown Ice Arena in Hudsonville, Michigan. There are three upcoming home games in the next few weeks where you can see the ladies in action! 

January 26 at  9:00 PM     Grand Valley State University vs. Robert Morris University (IL)   

January 27 at 2:00 PM      Grand Valley State University vs. Robert Morris University (IL)    

February 10 at 2:00 PM     Grand Valley State University vs. Michigan State University
