GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Since the early 1970's, the Wheatland Music Festival has attracted thousands of music lovers for its annual summer festival. Four years ago, Winter Wheat began, a mid-winter tribute to the well-loved end of summer festival. One of the many West Michigan bands taking part in the January 12 event is Blue Molly featuring Molly Bouwsma. The mission of the Wheatland Music Organization is to serve as a regional resource center for the preservation and presentation of traditional music and arts. You can support them and enjoy an awesome evening of entertainment on January 12 at the Intersection in Grand Rapids. A celebration of traditional dance and music will take place January 12 from 1 p.m. - 1 a.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
