GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - You may have heard about the legendary ladies man, Don Giovanni, but there's a good chance you haven't seen his story on stage, sung in French, along to the music of Mozart played by the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra. On February 8 and 9, Opera Grand Rapids will give you the opportunity to have that experience. Rachael takes us behind the scenes to see the staging rehearsal and meet the man performing the title role. The music is sung in French but there are English subtitles to help you follow along and a description of the story is in the program. Opera Grand Rapids performances of Don Giovanni are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids. Tickets range from $21 to $98 and student tickets are half off the day of the show. Tickets are available at the Opera Grand Rapids or DeVos Performance Hall Box Offices or by calling Ticketmaster. Three lucky eightWest viewers are going to the show for free! If you'd like to enter for a chance to win two tickets to the Saturday performance of Don Giovanni, link here . Winners must be able to pick up the tickets at WOOD TV.
