GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Have you ever hoped to join in a discussion of a book that you have read with someone else who can relate to it, too? You don't need to form your own book club to get into the act! The Grand Rapids Public Library hosts Spilled Ink - The Book Club for the Rest of Us. All you have to do is sign up, read ten books and you win prizes like your own Spilled Ink coffee mug. It's a great way for grown-ups to beat the winter blues and the best part is, it's free and open to everyone! Even the kids can get into the act. The One Book, One City for Kids program encourages all 4th graders (and all kids, really) in the city to read and discuss the same book and this year's selection is Special Delivery: Animal Rescue Team by Sue Stauffacher. It comes with a bike map of Grand Rapids to help kids explore and learn the city! Stop by and get reading today. Joy's book club is reading Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain. She's coming to speak as part of GRCC's Diversity Lecture Series on March 13, 2013. Share what you're reading with us today!
