GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Frederik Meijer Gardens Summer Concert Series is in full swing with June shows lined up with the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Foreigner, Al Green, Steve Miller Band, Govt. Mule and Emmylou Harris....and that's just a start!  When you come to a concert at this incredible venue, there are a few things you should keep in mind.  You are welcome and encouraged to bring a chair to sit on, but only low-rise chairs are allowed.  They must be 12" or less from the ground to the front of the seat bottom and 31" to the top of the chair back in its highest position.  You can bring your own picnic or enjoy the expanded concessions inside the venue.  When packing your own picnic, keep in mind that no glass containers are allowed and any beverages must be in sealed, unopened containers. No alcohol is allowed but beer and wine are sold at the concessions.  Bring your photo ID if you want to partake.  Tickets for many shows are already sold out including Steve Miller Band and Al Green. Get your tickets today for any future show you want to see!  Most concerts start at 7 p.m. with the gates opening at 6 p.m. and groups will perform rain or shine.
