GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - AmeriCorps Michigan and the American Red Cross would like you to “knit your bit” this winter! They are donating homemade winter accessories to low-income women and children of the Greater Grand Rapids Area.
If you enjoy knitting or are interested in learning how, the American Red Cross, located at 1050 Fuller Ave. NE, is holding a workshop on January 21. From 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m., you can learn how to knit or crochet, enjoy coffee, doughnuts and great conversation while helping to keep a child warm this winter.
All experience levels welcome! Training will be provided. Please bring your own needles, yarn and patterns.
