GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - If you have difficulty reading, you are not alone. Many people have unique learning styles including dyslexia which present challenges in learning to read. Help is available for anyone age five to adult at the Specialized Language Development Center. They have offices in both Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo and serve people all over West Michigan. To keep this program going, volunteer reading tutors are always needed and so is financial support. You can help out with your next book purchase from Barnes & Noble who is hosting a Be My Valentine benefit bookfair to raise funds for SLD February 11 - 15. They're kicking it off with a fun event filled with crafts, puzzles, story time and more on Saturday from 11am to 4pm at the Barnes & Noble RiverTown Crossings. Join us there!
