Train now, race next

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - It's time to start thinking about spring and summer runs and races that you want to take part in. From gearing up for the Fifth Third Riverbank Run to triathlon training,  Gazelle Sports can help you reach your fitness goals and get ready to race.  There are clinics and fitness sessions happening each week including Fitness Yoga with Seva Yoga on Thursdays  at 5:45 p.m., a session called Injury Wise with Metro Health on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Dirty Herd Weekly Runs on Sundays at 4 p.m., Urban Herd Weekly Runs on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and upcoming training programs to get you ready for a triathlon with MVP.  Those training times are Mondays at the MVP Athletic Club in Rockford from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and at the same time on Wednesdays at the MVP Sportsplex in Grand Rapids.  On Saturdays at 8 a.m., groups combine for training at various location geared toward the Grand Rapids Triathlon on June 10.  There is also an information night planned on Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. to find out more about the Reeds Lake Run coming up on June 30.  Training times for that 5K or 10K event are Mondays at 6 p.m. at Gazelle Sports in Grand Rapids and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in East Grand Rapids
