GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A pair of brand new shoes can help get the new school year off to a terrific start for any child. For several years, In The Image has been providing brand new back to school shoes for kids who may otherwise go without, and this year they hope to do the same. Right now, the Shoes Help Our Elementary School program is in need of financial donations to help In The Image meet the need for shoe donations. Take Action today to help in one of two ways (or both!): 1. Volunteering your time to distribute the shoes. Go to intheimage.org and check out the times they're looking for volunteers. 2. Make a donation toward the S.H.O.E.S. program. just $10 makes it possible for In The Image to get a new pair of shoes to an elementary school student. Since 1996, In The Image has helped more than six thousand kids each year.
