Seeing Body Double at Meijer Gardens

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The human form is depicted in some of the most famous pieces of artwork in the world. Many artists have recently returned to depicting the human figure in contemporary ways. The "Body Double" exhibition at Frederik Meijer Gardens includes 26 sculptures, which were all ArtPrize entries! The exhibition portrays the human figure as an object and a metaphor. The sculptures were created by artists from across the United States and around the world. The intricate pieces of art are made out of all different materials from wood and resin to metal. "Body Double" will be on display through January 6.
