Preserving a precious memory

GRAND RAPDIS, Mich. (WOOD) - Another great small business that we would like to introduce you to is perfect if you're in the market for a very special Mother's Day or Father's Day gift.  It's called Captured in Clay.  Deana Brownlow has been doing this for ten years, making treasures for families.  Deana recently started working with the Bereavement Team with the Spectrum Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She donates her time and services to make impressions of babies hands and feet who are terminal. Her creations are a beautiful way for a family to honor and remember a child that has passed.  You can see her work on her website or at a special event at Tip Toes in Holland on April 14.  Appointments between one and four p.m. need to be booked ahead of time.
