GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - As the days of the week turn to Friday, movie theaters prepare themselves for a busy weekend. New releases hitting theaters this weekend include the critically acclaimed film, Zero Dark Thirty along with Gangster Squad. Also, releasing on DVD is the locally shot movie, Touchback. Zero Dark Thirty is the film that documents the hunt for Osama Bin Laden after the September 11 terrorist attacks. The film is rated R and includes violence as well as strong language. Gangster Squad stars highly desired actor Ryan Gosling as well as the spunky Emma Stone. The combination of the two along with other big name actors paired with classic mobsters promises to bring along action and style displaying classic gangsters with modern sensibility. Again, this film includes violence and strong language. Touchback, the West Michigan shot film, is more of the family option. It follows a former football player who gets a second chance at living out his dream in this sports drama. For more information on the films, check out Aaron's movie blog .
