From savory meats and cheeses to sparkly bubbly wine and the area's finest beers, she offers culinary choices sure to please just the two of you or a whole crowd gathered for the count down. Black eyed pea salsa
1 can black eyed peas, rinsed and drained
1 pint yellow cherry tomatoes, quartered
1 red pepper, diced
1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
1/4 cup red onion, minced
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
zest and juice of one lime
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon ancho chile powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Mix everything together in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use. You should let it sit for at least a few hours before eating. You can make this up to two days before you need it.
