Morning Chit Chat: Holiday helpers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - What do you enjoy doing with your family? Rachael shares a special cooking time she spent with one of her daughters, Coco. Together they tackled the kitchen and made chocolate covered pretzels! It was presumed to be a bit messy, but what you get out of it is invaluable family time and delicious food that you can snack on for hours on end. The ingredients can be found at any grocery store. The process is so easy, you simply coat the pretzel sticks with melted chocolate and dip them in your choice of sprinkles and they are ready to be eaten within minutes! So roll up your sleeves and slip on an apron and try to make them with your loved ones! Terri talks about In The Image Benefit Concert that takes place on Sunday at Back Forty Salon in Grand Rapids. There is absolutely no admission charge, the only requirement is for you to bring a gently used coat which goes toward the goal of providing 12,000 coats for inner city kids in the cold winter months.
