Morning Chat: Jury Duty

Rachael's first experience

Published : Tuesday, 15 Jan 2013, 12:06 PM EST

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Rachael had her first experience with jury duty yesterday! Not knowing what to expect, about 150 people showed up along with her around 7:45 in the morning at the Kent County Court House. Many were taken in the jury box and asked questions, but Rachael and some others were just sent home. Over the weekend, Rachael went to a recently opened restaurant on 28th Street called Osaka. She and her family tried the hibachi, but there are sushi and fondue stations as well. Rachael says the food was great and the environment was very entertaining! Terri and her husband just got back from a long weekend where they flew to Florida. Even though Terri is not a fan of scaly creatures, she couldn't resist taking photos of some of the many alligators that were wandering around on the golf course they visited!
