Mending hearts, lives in Iraq

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A few years ago, Cody Fisher took a dramatic turn with his life and in the process changed the lives of many, many others. Through death threats and bombings, he and Jeremy Courtney co-founded the Preemptive Love Coalition , and together they are bringing lifesaving heart surgery to thousands of Iraqi children in their homeland. Jeremy and Cody visited West Michigan to share their mission during The January Series at Calvin College and stopped by our studio to let us know how we can help.
