LAKE ODESSA, Mich. (WOOD) - Meet Liberty, a deserving dog now living at Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary who is need of a forever home. She's a year-and-a-half old Terrier/Boxer Mix and she's completely up to date on all her vaccinations and she's spayed. Right now, our friends at Mackenzie's are working with her on obedience training. Her name is Liberty which stands for being free or released from imprisonment. You could also say she's a free spirit. She loves to play with little kids and other dogs and would just likes to go everywhere with you. She does great when left alone, too. Liberty is known around Mackenzie's as a real character with her great expressions and random bursts of energy. She's an extremely fast learner and would make a great addition to pretty much any home. If you'd like to meet her, you can fill out Mackenzie's online adoption survey. The cost of adopting from Mackenzie's is $150 and before they come home with you they'll get their shots, heartworm prevention and will be micro-chipped. The adoption process if very thorough and includes a home visit.
