Little tots get lively at the library

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - No matter what the weather, there's a spot that offers something for everyone.   It involves so much more than books and learning and you simply can't beat the price of admission.  Follow our Grandma on the Go and her 2 year old granddaughter inside the East Grand Rapids branch of the Kent District Library to meet Miss Morgan Doane for an adventure in fun.  There you'll find so much more than books, like a theater, a room ready with lots of Legos and even a roller coaster, and on weekends, they always have fun stuff planned including "Family Sundays". 

On November 11 at 2 p.m., the little ones will love "Olivia - The Pig Party", an event that includes crafts, games and stories and kids are  encouraged to bring your loudest, most energetic selves!  If something a little more mellow is your style, you might enjoy some gentle guitar music with Toby Schuler next to the fireplace, which happens on the same day at the same time one floor up.  Find out what's happening at a library near you at www.kdl.org
