Juice Ball will be a Grand Slam

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Chef Tommy Fitzgerald cooks up some great granola as he shares all we need to know about Juice Ball 2013 - it's going to be a grand slam!  This fourth annual Juice Ball celebration will raise funds for Kids Food Basket and Tommy's newest non-profit creation, KitchenSage, an after school culinary academy that will be housed at the Boy and Girls Club at Madison and Franklin in Grand Rapids. The idea is to teach inner city children good nutrition and healthy food preparation in a fun and exciting new way.  The Grand Slam Juice Ball happens January 5 stating at 7 p.m. at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.  VIP passes go for $50 in advance and $60 at the door.  This event is geared for those 21 and up.
