Interview do's and don't's

PORTAGE, MIch. (WOOD) - When you land that interview, be sure to do your homework! -Be on time
-Know who you are meeting
-Bring copies of your resume
-Research the company? 
-Be prepared to talk about yourself honestly
-When can you start a position - if you cannot start for 2 weeks that is ok, give accurate info during the interview
-Go into the interview with three questions prepared about the job or company
-On the way out of the interview, ask when you can expect to hear from them next
-Be sure to send a thank you note to anyone you interviewed with

The Do Not's
-Don't ask about money
-Don't Speak negatively about past managers or companies
-If you don't have appropriate questions to ask - Don't ask questions
-If you get into the interview and it's not a job you want, continue with the interview and thank them for their time.
