Help others keep warm this winter

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Now that it's getting a little colder, it's easy to see how your warm clothing donations can be put to good use.  What you may not realize, is that there are some basic things people use every day that they don't always have. In The Image is ready to collect those items, too, and and get them to those in need.  What they are looking for right now is outerwear for everyone in the family, adults and children alike.  Because every child should have a warm coat to wear at recess, dig into your closet and bring what your kids have outgrown to the donation and distribution center at In The Image on South Division in Grand Rapids.  They are also in very low supply of twin and full sized mattresses and box springs and the linens to go with them.  Requests for these items have been high over the last few months. If you give In The Image a call, they'll pick it up your mattress or box springs. Also on the wanted list are kitchen tables and chairs. You can bring your donations to In The Image located at 1823 South Division in Grand Rapids. They accept donations weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Financial contributions are always needed and can easily be made online or by giving them a call at 616-456-6150
