To help you stay on track, we sent Jordan to Family Fare and D&W Fresh Market for quick and healthy alternative recipes to some of our favorite festive foods. Low Fat Layer Dip
Ingredients:

2 cans Mexican chili beans
1 pkg (8 oz) fat free cream cheese, brought to room temp
1 container (16 oz) fat free sour cream
1 pkt taco seasoning mix
2 cups reduced fat shredded cheese
2 cups finely chopped romaine lettuce
½ cup diced fresh cilantro
1 large tomato, chopped
1 orange bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch green onions, cut or chopped
1 can (6 oz) sliced black olives, drained

Directions:
Drain and mash canned beans. Mix in ½ packet taco seasoning. Spread to cover bottom of serving dish or tray.  In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream and remaining taco seasoning. Spread over beans.
Sprinkle lettuce over sour cream mixture Sprinkle shredded cheese over lettuce. In a separate bowl, combine cilantro, tomato, bell pepper, green onions, and olives and evenly spread as the final layer.
Serve with baked tortilla chips, pita chips, or celery sticks.

Rainbow Fruit Kabobs
Ingredients:

Red strawberries, rinsed and halved
Orange cantaloupe, cut into chunks
Yellow pineapple, cut into chunks
Green kiwi, peeled, sliced into ½ inch pieces and halved
Blue blueberries, rinsed
Purple grapes, rinsed

Directions:
Prepare all fruit. Skewer fruit in order above

Fruit Dip
Ingredients:

1 container (8 oz) Fat Free Whipped Topping
1 Tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:
Thaw whipped topping in the refrigerator. Stir until smooth Gradually fold in ground cinnamon.
Serve with Fruit Kabobs or fruit tray.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp olive oil
16 spears fresh asparagus, trimmed
8-16 slices prosciutto
Reduced fat or fat free cream cheese
¼ cup shredded parmesan (optional)

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450° F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, brushed with olive oil.
Spread thin layer of cream cheese on full or ½ slice of prosciutto.  Wrap prosciutto around each asparagus spear. Place the wrapped spears on the prepared baking sheet.  Bake for 5 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove, and shake the pan back and forth to roll the spears over.  Return to the oven for another 5 minutes or until asparagus is tender, and prosciutto is crisp. Sprinkle with parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

Guilt Free Holiday Punch
Ingredients:

Sugar Free Cranberry/Raspberry drink mix
2, 2-liters diet lemon lime soda, chilled
1 tub raspberry sherbet
1 pkg cranberries, frozen
1 bunch fresh mint sprigs

Directions:
Combine soda with drink mix. Reserve 1 cup of cranberries. Pour the rest in the punchbowl to keep punch cold.  Scoop in sherbet to form a light pink top layer of foam.  Garnish with reserved cranberries and fresh mint sprigs.
