Give the gift of keeping cool

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Looking back at the recent intense heat, it's a good time to remember that we might be able to help those who can't afford to keep their families cool.  Take Action Today by donating window air conditioner units to In the Image. They help families in west Michigan who are struggling to stay cool in this hot summer weather by providing these items for their homes.  They're also looking for large appliances like refrigerators, washers and dryers for families, as well as used car batteries.  In the Image can supply one pair of shoes for an underprivileged child for every car battery donated.  In The Image helps families and individuals who are most in need in our community and you can, too.   People can come in and take what they need at no cost.
